Hi everyone

I am seeking helping for my family. Our life turning upside down when my dad had his first seizure in April 11th 2020. Once he was admitted to the hospital. The doctors ran multiple scans and test after those were completed. Our worst fear came true. My dad was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma. He had his first craniotomy on May 15th 2020. He did all the treatment necessary for his diagnoses.

We were hopeful his brain tumor will not come back after all he had been through. My dad had another MRI done in April 2021 & unfortunately the tumor returned. His doctor recommended another craniotomy but set the expectations that it may return again. We were scared and didn’t know if this 2nd surgery will effect my dad differently compared to the first surgery. My dad had underwent the 2nd craniotomy on June 25th. His recovery was not how we expected we were hopeful my dads memory, speech and balance will not be effected but it was. After coming home and reseting my dad had a seizure recently on August 11th. He is currently in the hospital intubated. My dad is unable to return to work. If you don’t know my dad is an auto mechanic and loves listening to classic rock and driving his 69 Camaro on his free time. We are hoping he can recover from his surgery and get back to doing what he loves which is working on cars. 

We were definitely not prepared for this overwhelming experience as a family. We are praying around the clock for a speedy recovery so he can come home.
