Jimmy Chew has been my loyal companion for nearly a decade, standing by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life. I adopted him right after my first battle with cancer, and he was there for me through my second fight, a big move to Austin, and the long months of isolation during the pandemic. As someone who has spent a lot of time alone, Jimmy Chew has been my constant source of comfort, laughter, and love. His playful spirit shines through in the way he loves long walks, belly scratches, and especially his signature face licks—he never misses a chance when I’m in downward dog.

Now, Jimmy Chew is facing a serious health crisis. At 10 years old, he’s struggling with severe dental disease. His teeth are rotting and falling out, and he’s in visible pain every day. Because he has a partially collapsed trachea, most vets have been too concerned to attempt the dental procedure he desperately needs. Thankfully, we’ve finally found a vet willing to help, but the cost is significant and I’m currently facing financial challenges. Jimmy Chew is on antibiotics for a severe mouth infection, can only eat wet food, and spends most of his time hiding or sleeping because of the pain.

The funds raised will go directly toward his dental procedure and the care he needs to recover. I want nothing more than to see Jimmy Chew healthy, happy, and back to enjoying his favorite things. Any support will help give him the chance to live a full and joyful life by my side.
