Our friend and coworker Maureen’s husband, Jimmy, was involved in a pedestrian accident on 8/18/2025. The accident has left Jimmy paralyzed from his chest down and recently an amputated leg from the knee down.

He has had many surgeries- spinal fusion, knee surgery, left foot surgery, and now amputation. He was recently transferred to a rehabilitation center in Jacksonville after 5 weeks in a local hospital. There he will begin a long, challenging journey. Maureen has been with him every single day and night. Can you imagine the overwhelming financial burden? Your donation, no matter the amount, will be used towards medical & rehabilitation costs, home modifications, medical supplies, lost income, co-pay for wheelchair, handicapped-equipped van for transportation, and unknown uncovered costs that will arise. The staff say his sense of humor and grit gets him through his intense physical therapy sessions.
