Where to begin? My wife, Jimell, and I married in 2004. I saw a rare gem as she lights up a room, with a sincere love for others. And then I saw her beautiful smile; it's easy to love her. We created a wonderful life together, a son in the military, a daughter in college, studying criminology. Jimell raised our children to honor God and to make our world a better place by kindness. I battled my own bout of prostate cancer in 2006. My devoted wife walked in front, beside, and behind me--every step. 19 years later, my lovely wife now has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor cancer. It is an extremely rare cancer, accounting for 2% of all cancers.

Those who know Jimell know this: she loves to use her gift, singing to bless others. She loves hard--her family, friends, co-workers. She loves Michael McDonald and Ironman (not so much winter/fall--smile). These past 5 weeks have been non-stop. Many tears, questions, sleepless nights, appointments, new meds, physical discomfort, and pain. She courageously has not complained. Going through numerous CTs, MRIs, MREs, Barium Swallow, PET scan, EDG, painful biopsies, x-rays, and several hospital stays. Jimell, a faithful giver (especially to strangers), is in immediate and ongoing need. The FIGHT has begun, and the most emergent need is funding for her expensive medication and ongoing cancer treatments. Funds for gas to drive to her cancer appointments in Philadelphia where she'll be treated. Money for groceries to purchase selective foods she can tolerate.
