Help Shank Access Life-Saving Treatment!

For more than 25 years, Jim Shank, to most known simply as Shank, has been an integral part of the WWE family — tirelessly giving his time, talent, and heart to the people and work he loves. Anyone who knows him knows his incredible work ethic, loyalty, and humor — the way he always shows up for everyone around him.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

As many of you know, Jim has been fighting colorectal cancer for the last three years. After months of crushing his treatments, chemotherapy and radiation have stopped working. But for the first time in a long time, we have real hope.

Shank was very recently approved for a promising therapy through a company called Immunocine — a form of dendritic cell therapy that’s being fast-tracked by the FDA for its remarkable success helping complex cancer patients reach remission. Unlike chemo and radiation, Immunocine’s approach works with the body’s own immune system to target cancer — often with minimal downtime and without the harsh long-term side effects of traditional treatments.

Right now, this is our only chance to save his life.

Unfortunately, although it has been fast-tracked by the FDA because of their incredible results, it is not yet fully approved so insurance won’t cover most of the cost which is far beyond what our family can manage alone right now. We have until December 1st to secure the funding and get him to treatment before his cancer progresses to the point he is no longer a candidate.

We have been trying everything to do this on our own, but we need help. So many of you have asked how you can help, so we are humbly asking for your support. Every donation, every share, every kind word helps us get one step closer to giving Jim this chance.

All of the prayers, phone calls, messages, voicemails, videos, memories, and words of encouragement have gotten him through his recent hospitalizations, darkest days of his life, surgeries and road to recovery. He is tough, and does not like to focus on himself, but could not have made it this far without you all. He wants nothing more than to beat this, and get back to his old self on the road with you never missing a show.

We’re holding onto faith, love, and hope — the same things that have carried us through so much already. With your help, we can give Jim the opportunity to keep fighting, to keep living, and to keep being the incredible husband, father, brother, friend and robo expert that he is.
