In May, our friend and colleague Jim Estep underwent what was meant to be a routine day surgery to insert a spinal stimulator, hoping to alleviate chronic pain and embrace a more active retirement with his wife, Adele. Tragically, a massive bleed during the procedure necessitated an emergency spinal laminectomy, resulting in total paralysis from the waist down.
Since then, Jim has been in a rehabilitation hospital and he faces months of intensive therapy. Through this life-altering challenge, Jim and Adele remain steadfast in their faith, trusting they can navigate this new chapter together, even as they confront the significant physical, emotional, and financial hurdles ahead.
For the last 15 years at CSC, Jim exemplified servant leadership, fostering success for everyone around him, while his 30 years prior were marked by impactful contributions that improved systems and realized opportunities for businesses and individuals alike. Jim has dedicated his life to serving others at home, in his church, and throughout his career.
Now he needs our help as he faces mounting medical costs, and Jim would be deeply grateful for any one-time or monthly donations to help ease this burden. Jim, Adele, and their family thank you for your generosity and pray that God blesses you in all that you do.
