Help Jim Kitzmiller Rebuild After His Home Was Flooded

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My friend Jim Kitzmiller, his wife and child are facing a heartbreaking challenge. Their home has been flooded for the third time in the past few years. While this time the damage was less severe than previous floods, with water levels reaching 6-8 inches inside the house, the impact is still devastating.

Jim has always been a strong, self-reliant person, but this continuous onslaught of natural disasters is taking a toll. The cleanup and repairs needed are overwhelming. He needs to remove two feet of drywall throughout the house, sanitize floors, replace insulation, and repair the drywall and paint. On top of that, he needs help with materials like drywall, insulation, and tires for his truck, as well as skilled hands to assist with the heavy work.

Jim would never ask for help on his own, but the situation is dire. I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help him get back on his feet and reclaim some of the life that has been washed away by these floods. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards the materials and labor needed to restore his home and his peace of mind.
