Help Jim Keenan with Medical Emergncy Expenses

On March 7th of this year, Jim and his family's life changed forever.   While cutting down a tree in his family's yard, he accidentally fell 15 feet, breaking his back and suffering a spinal cord injury.   He was transported by life-flight to Presbyterian Hospital and subsequently had two spinal surgeries to repair and stabilize his broken spine.  However the damage to Jim's spine was severe and he is now paralyzed from the waist down.  

     We are now in the process of helping Jim recover and learn a new way of life.  His recovery process will be long and arduous, but Jim has maintained a positive outlook throughout this entire ordeal.   
      Our biggest hurdle is making sure Jim comes home to a house that is safe and handicapped accessible.  We humbly ask for help so that Jim's family can afford the cost of home modifications.  The stair lift is $9000, a second back up wheelchair is approximately $300, and preliminary bathroom modifications are around $500.  With the generous support of the Methodist Church, ramps for the house will be built for only $200.  

      We are overwhelmingly grateful for all the help we've already recieved in regards to this traumatic experience.   When tragedy strikes, it is truly amazing to see the angels already present in your life.
