This past August, I underwent surgery on my right foot and have been in recovery ever since. I was able to return to work for a couple of months, but unfortunately, the wound on my foot became aggravated, forcing me to take more time off. Now, I am facing at least another 10 weeks away from work to ensure my foot heals completely before I can safely return. The journey has been physically and emotionally exhausting, and the uncertainty of when I’ll be able to get back on my feet has added to the stress.

On top of the challenges with my health, I am struggling to keep up with the mounting medical bills from my initial surgery, and I know there will be more expenses as I continue to recover. Being out of work has made it incredibly difficult to cover my daily living costs, and I am waiting for disability funds to be approved. Until then, every day is a struggle to make ends meet, and the financial pressure is overwhelming.
