Hey everyone,

We're reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend and brother, Jim Hayburn — lovingly known as Big Jim, Jimmy, or Brother Jim.

Just over a month ago, Jim was in a serious car accident in the East Bay. He spent several weeks in the ICU at Stanford Hospital recovering from significant injuries. Thankfully, he’s made incredible progress and was recently transferred to a transitional care hospital in San Leandro. We’re hopeful he’ll be discharged within the next week.

Once released, Jim will stay with his brother John in Corning to continue his rehabilitation. However, his home and life are in Oakland, and it's important to him to keep that space safe and secure while he recovers.

We’re asking for your help to cover Jim’s rent and basic living expenses during this time, so he can focus fully on healing without the added stress of financial strain.
