My name is Tiffany, I am a dear friend of Jim Gast and his wife. Jim has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia(AML). AML is a type of blood cancer that affects the bone marrow, where white blood cells are produced. He will soon be starting chemo at Hackensack University Hospital.

Jim loves his NY Mets, Star Wars, LEGO, his cats and dog and bowling. But above all he loves his wife Amanda and (step) daughter Aria. Jim has a long battle ahead of him that he and his family are ready to fight head on.

As I am sure you know, fighting cancer is very expensive. Although insurance pays some, it does not cover all the medications and treatments that he will need to get better. Insurance does not help cover the mortgage, household bills, groceries and gas to get Jim to and from his treatments and doctors appointments as well as other things the family may need.
