Help Jim fight stage 4 NSC Lung Cancer

Hi my name is Kendra gendron. I'm setting up this Go Fund Me account for my father James Gendron. He has stage 4 non small cell lung cancer.

In April my father would become short of breath with very little activity. If anyone knew my father he is as stubborn as it gets so he kept his struggles to himself. His sisters started to notice and demanded he get checked out at our local emergency room. Thankfully they pushed him to go and Thankfully he went.

He was admitted as his oxygen levels were so low. They believed he had pneumonia and sepsis. Who knew it was much much worse. After his 1st Xray the doctor said you definitely have lung cancer but they needed to confirm with different scans and blood work and biopsies. We hoped and prayed it was just pneumonia.

We got the news that he had stage 4 non small cell lung cancer and that it was most likely in his lymph nodes. After more tests they determined that it had spread to his brain as well.

The oncologist decided to treat the brain cancer first, so my father started 10 treatments of whole brain radiation. Now if you think my dad's luck couldn't get any worse think again. After his 4th radiation treatment he had a grand Mal seizure and fractured his neck. They were able to continue treatment all he had to do was wear a c collar for 3 months.

He is currently doing his chemotherapy treatments and fighting as hard as he can. Before all this he was a self employed electrician and was a very independent person. With this battle He stayed so active during the beginning of his treatments but is enduring more side effects the further he gets into treatment. He now sleeps most of the day and is awaiting a booster shot to help his red blood cell production.

Any funds raised will go directly to my father to help him pay bills and anything else he may need during his cancer jouney.
