Jim is my father, and I love him with all my heart. I am doing everything I can to make his journey last. He has overcome so many obstacles in his lifetime, and his strength inspires me every day. When my daughter was born in October 2024, my dad rushed himself to the ER for fluid buildup around his heart. By March, his heart was failing, and he faced a surgery with only a 40% success rate. Miraculously, he made it through. But during his surgery prep, doctors discovered cancer in his neck. He spent a month and a half in the hospital recovering from his heart issues, and when he finally got out, he felt like a million bucks—back to working and doing what he loves. Then, his tumors in his neck started to bleed, and he almost died from blood loss. He also had cancer on the back of his hand. After a round of targeted radiation and holistic treatments, the tumor on his hand disappeared and his neck cleared up—until the cancer reappeared on the outside of his neck, below his jaw, threatening his airway. When he returned for more radiation, doctors said his tumors were too overlapping to treat. Six months ago, he was told he had a year to live without chemo, and two years with it. But those options don’t sound promising, and western medicine just offers chemo without a personalized approach. We found a facility that will create a protocol just for him, focusing on every part of his body and minimizing harmful medications.
This treatment is already a huge expense, and if I can take one burden off his shoulders so he can focus on healing, I will do whatever it takes. Your support could make all the difference. I will be taking time off of work and school to be there for him during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will help with treatment, travel, lodging, food, and medical expenses. Your generosity will help ease the burden on all of us and allow Jim to focus on healing. We are reaching out for help to give him the best chance at more time with his family. Any support means the world to us.
