Help Jim Carraher

Hi everyone. My name is Lindsey, and I am raising funds for my stepdad, Jim.

I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes that each of you who sees this will help do what you can to help my stepdad through what has turned out to be the most challenging and scariest times of his life.

My mom and Jim are focused on fighting for his life. He has recently been diagnosed with end-stage renal failure. He will need an upcoming surgery, then dialysis, and eventually a kidney transplant. He has no medical insurance, so he already has tens of thousands due in hospital and medical bills.

The next step is for Jim to get the surgery to get the port installed so he can start dialysis as soon as possible. This money has to be paid upfront. Lifting this burden of the ever-mounting medical costs would be an amazing blessing to them and would help get him that surgery so he can move forward with life-saving treatment.

I cannot begin to tell you what your help will mean to my entire family. I know my mom and Jim will be forever grateful.
