Help Jim care for his sweet cat, Leeloo

Hi friends,

I'm putting this together for my dear friend Jim and his sweet cat, Leeloo. If you know him, you know how much this little girl means to him. She's not just a cat but she's his family.

Leeloo is diabetic and has been doing well with her treatments, but this past week while he was out of town, she suddenly got very sick. She was rushed to the vet, and from there things snowballed. She was sent to an animal hospital, and then because of the Labor Day weekend, had to be transferred again to another emergency hospital.

The bills are already closet to $8000, and they're still adding up. On top of the worry about her health, the cost has been crushing. He would never ask for help himself, but I know he would do anything for her and I want to do anything I can to help them both.
