Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my parents, Jim and Michelle, whose home was tragically destroyed by a fire on April 16th.

Jim and Michelle are two of the kindest, most giving people I know. Over the years, they’ve opened their doors—and their hearts—to many in need. Whether it was housing friends going through hard times or simply being there for neighbors and loved ones, they’ve always been the type of people who put others first.

They just recently retired, looking forward to enjoying the next chapter of life together. But now, everything they’ve worked so hard for is gone. The fire left their home unlivable, destroying not only the structure but a lifetime of memories inside. While insurance is covering part of the damage, it falls heartbreakingly short. They’re now left with the burden of coming up with $52,000 just to make their home safe and livable again.

Jim is a veteran, and both he and Michelle have spent their lives helping others—it’s difficult for them to now be the ones in need. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
