**Rallying for Jim**

We are reaching out to our amazing community to support our dear friend Jim, who is currently in hospital battling meningitis. This sudden and serious illness has turned his and his family's world upside down.

Meningitis is a severe condition that requires intensive treatment and a long recovery period. While we are grateful that it is not contagious and that he is receiving the care he needs, the journey ahead will not be easy. He will face months of recovery, rehabilitation, and an uncertain timeline before he can return to normal life.

Everyone who knows Jim knows his love for his family, his love of good food, his gloriously cynical sense of humour, and his classy Northern Soul moves. Jim has always put everything he has into the people he loves and the life he's been building for them together with Lisa. Right now, every bit of that energy is focused on his recovery and on getting back to them.

At home, Lisa is holding everything together with incredible strength, keeping things as normal as possible for their two little girls while spending every moment she can with Jim. Jim has poured himself into that home, building it with his own hands, turning the garden into a kiddies' paradise. For now, Lisa is keeping all of that going, and looking forward to sharing it all with Jim again.

Jim works with his hands and body for a living. His family is now facing a lot of anxiety and emotional stress alongside financial worries. The loss of income during his recovery is significant, and the costs of daily life don't stop. There are expenses none of us ever plans for in a situation like this.

We are raising funds to help ease this burden so Lisa can focus on caring for Jim and their girls without the constant worry of how to cover everyday expenses and the extra costs that come with a situation like this.
