Help Jim and His Family Survive through Cancer

Donation protected

Jim and Meagan have three beautiful children named Gus, Gwendelyn, and Harry.  Gus is the oldest and was born with Type 1 Diabetes, Gwendolyn is the second oldest, and Harry is the youngest. They have been very tight financially for a while now while raising their children.  Jim has been running an organic fertilization company for several years now that has had a slow start but his goal was always to help prevent poisons and other toxic fertilizers from getting into the ground.  Jim recently picked up a second job on the side to help cover living expenses like food for the family and medicine for Gus’s diabetes.

Over the past year, Jim has been struck with stomach pains which led him to several doctor visits, his work has slowed down as a result.  After several scans, biopsies, and other tests, Jim was diagnosed with Stage 4 “Appendiceal Adenocarcinoma with Metastasis to the Omentum”.  It’s a mouth full, I know, but it’s very serious.  Tomorrow, April 14th will be the day Jim gets his port so that he can start Chemotherapy. He’s been told that he will be very sick for the time being and as a result he will probably not be able to work, though he's insistent to try and work as long as he can.

That’s where we come in!  Jim will have to pay $3,000 up front out of pocket for his treatment which will last 6 months.  He will also likely be unable to work after his chemotherapy begins so we’re trying to raise funds for him and his family to survive and have a roof over their head.  Any donated funds will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to supporting the family during their greatest time of need.  It will mean they will be able to stay in their home, have money for food, cancer treatment, living costs, medicine for Gus, and other necessities vital to survival.  To cover these costs, we figured they will need around $4,000 a month for at least 6 months, possibly even 7.

Thank you for your consideration and any funds you are able to spare. God Bless!

4/15 Edit:  Jim is Receiving his Chemotherapy port today so that he can begin his treatment.
