Help Jim and His Children Overcome Tragedy
Donation protected
Sometimes the cruelty of life can be overwhelming. On June 16th, Father’s Day, our dear friend Jim Claeys suffered a freak boating accident. Jim was trying to enjoy the day with his children just 4 days after their beautiful Mother passed of cancer. Thankfully Jim is alive, but has been left with a major head injury. He is out of the ICU and we are waiting to see what recovery will look like.
Jim is a force of nature, if you know him, you love him, and you have a wild story that involves him. He is a vibe and spends his life trying to improve and help others. He is also a small business owner and runs his own Chiropractic office. Unfortunately, he does not have health insurance and this medical emergency not only will be expensive it will also keep him from working at his business where he is the only Chiropractor/Income Producer.
We are all grateful that Jim survived and seems to be showing signs that he is recovering, but the financial burden on top of trying to get well is a reality that not only affects Jim, but his children as well. Ava and Evan are still reeling from losing their amazing Mother- just last week. Now they not only witnessed the accident, but they don’t have their Father at home to comfort them.
We are creating this go fund me to ask you to help Jim and his children during this impossible time. No one can take away the emotion and physical impact this is having but if there is a way to help with the financial burden -it would be so appreciated.
Jim’s family is very involved with his medical care and Ava and Evan’s emotional support. We offered to create the go-fund me just to take one small thing off of their plate.
Please consider helping this amazing human and his beautiful children get through too much trauma to imagine.
