My name is Collette, and a dear friend of mine, Jill Elliott and her family were hit especially hard by the ice storm in Nashville. Their pipes burst and there is extensive electrical damage. They are in need of expensive electrical and plumbing repairs. Jill's mother passed away late last year and their home (which was in her name) has no homeowners insurance to help. Jill and her family now have to stay in an extended stay hotel, which the church is helping with. The church is also looking into helping with some of the larger electrical and plumbing repair bills. Praise God! However because of the electrical issues, there are also residual repair expenses and possible appliance replacement expenses that the Elliotts do not have funds to pay for.
