Help Jillian Overcome Hard Times

Hi, I’m Jillian, and I’m a junior BFA Musical Theatre student in NYC. Recently, my family has fallen on very hard times financially, and making rent, paying for groceries, and affording necessary medications has been a major worry.

My mom retired last year and has been working part-time, but after escaping an abusive relationship, we are struggling to pick up the pieces. Additionally, the resources needed to support myself in the program beyond survival (train tickets, lunches, textbooks, etc.) are beyond my budget, and trying to keep myself afloat is becoming increasingly difficult.

I am trying to help support myself to take some pressure off of my single mother, as she has been my rock and biggest cheerleader my entire life. Any way I can help her and I get back on our feet and support my education and passion is the way I want to go, and any help we can get would be the biggest blessing imaginable.
