Help Jill with Kelce’s veterinary bills

Hi, my name is Matt and I’m raising funds for my friend and neighbor, Jill Farabelli and her dog Kelce. Anyone who knows Jill knows that she is the sweetest person - a stalwart of the Manayunk (Pennsylvania) community, cancer fundraiser and dedicated social worker for patients with terminal conditions. Around 2 years ago she adopted Kelce, a dog from the Bahamas who has stolen many hearts including that of my own dog, Fidèle.

Recently, Kelce became unable to keep any food down. Upon taking her to the emergency vet, Jill found out that - most likely due to trauma before Jill adopted her - her liver, gallbladder, intestines and spleen had entered her thoracic cavity and her stomach had flipped. After removing the spleen, she had some complications - air was building up outside her lungs. For now, it’s a case of waiting and hoping but because this was likely caused by a prior traumatic event, it will not be covered by insurance and is therefore coming out of Jill’s pocket.

All funds will go towards paying for Kelce’s vet bills as Jill explores treatment options.
