Help Jill Walk: MS Electrotherapy Leg Brace
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your interest in donating to a cause so dear to me: Improving my Aunt Jill’s quality of life with an electrotherapy leg brace for her Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
We take mobility for granted. Forgot something? Run upstairs and grab it. Nice day? Take the long walk instead of driving. No problem. Many of us also take for granted our rainy day funds. This brace costs $10,000 with insurance. It’s “elective”! Since when is walking elective?
In 2020, Jill was diagnosed with having Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Watching my aunt do everything in her power to combat this cruel reality, while continuing to be an active mother, wife, employee, Youth Group leader, and live-in caretaker to my grandma who has her own medical issues, has been inspiring. She immediately committed to helping her own cause. She changed her lifestyle, and is now an avid swimmer. You can find her most mornings in the Elk Grove Pavilion pool before work. She lost significant weight as a result. She experimented with transfusion treatment and has improved her diet. But it’s not enough and she has a lot of livin’ left to do!
My aunt Jill saved my life. She is a kind soul with a long prayer list ❤️ She deserves the greatest technology to carry her into the decades to come.
I’m so proud of her resilience and positivity. Please, if this story touches you, consider a donation to help Jill walk.
Thank you!
