Help Jill survive fatal spinal infection
Donation protected
As I’ve been preparing to put this into words, a million thoughts and emotions have been swirling around my brain, but here goes…
My aunt, Jill Mulheron, was recently diagnosed with a life threatening bacterial infection that has spread throughout her entire spine. The current treatment protocol is a minimum of six weeks of IV antibiotics to hopefully get the staphylococcus infection under control; however no one can guarantee how long her full recovery will take.
She is a self-employed massage therapist and will be unable to work until the infection is under control and she is able to regain her strength. She has been in extreme pain and has lost function in one of her hands. Hopefully with time her hand will recovery fully, however that could take months.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help her obtain the funds she will need to pay her bills (mortgage, heat, water, etc) and ensure that she has a home to come back to once she can leave the hospital. Our family has come together to do everything we can to help her with this; but unfortunately there is only so much we can do and she has a long road to recovery ahead of her.
She has also been a husky breeder/professional dog lover for 25+ years and has 13 dogs to care for as well. Our family has that part under control as of right now, but are asking for help to cover her other expenses. We would be eternally grateful to anyone that could donate, no matter how big or small. My aunt really needs any type of love and support that she can get right now and we will do whatever it takes to ensure that she is taken care of during this horrific time.
A HUGE thank you to all that are able to donate at this time. We appreciate it beyond words. Please feel free to reach out to me, her sisters (Dawn or Amy) or her children if you have any questions or words of advice at this time. Literally anything will help. Again, thank you so much!
