My mom was diagnosed with Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer in March, a very rare type of cancer that only affects 1-2% of people. We were told my her Radiation Oncologist that they only see approximately 5-6 people a year at Princess Margaret with this type of Cancer.
She has been through hell and back since then , and is now going through treatments at PM in Toronto.
This journey so far has been quite costly... Time off work for both my Mom and Norm, parking downtown Toronto, gas, medications, and now accomodations as my mom cannot handle the drive back and fourth anymore.
My mom does not know we are raising money for her, and she is not on Facebook, so please do not share with her. 
If you know my mom, you will agree that she is most selfless person and would do absolutely anything for her family and friends. 
Any little bit will help her in her battle with this terrible disease.
