Help Jiji Fight Stage IV Kidney Disease

"I don't really like cats." -- people before meeting Jiji
"Maybe I should get a cat." -- people after meeting Jiji
Hey friends. If you know us, you probably know Jiji, the loudest little kitty under 10lbs. Since rescuing her 10 years ago, she has been the light of not just our lives, but the lives of neighbors and friends and family.
Recently, Jiji has not been eating as much and has lost quite a bit of weight. Our recent vet visit diagnosed her with Stage IV kidney disease - really shocking to us, considering how she was her normal screamy, cuddly self.
We will of course do anything for our little chicken nugget, but unfortunately she needs to spend a few days (and perhaps more) at the vet receiving fluids, ultrasound, and other diagnostic tests. The high estimate we've been given comes to around $3500-4000 for just these initial treatments, and depending on her final diagnosis may need more for home care and further exams.
Every little bit would help us bring Jiji home to interrupt Zoom calls, purr in (y)our laps, and bat her big green eyes at us innocently as she steals our seats when we get up for a glass of water.
It's been a tough few days, but if you share your favorite pics of her in the comments it would make us feel a lot better <3
