Hello everyone,

We are the proud parents of an incredible 11-year-old girl, Jianah Stephenson. Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support and prayer as we face one of the toughest challenges of our lives.

Jia has always been full of life, energy, and passion, with gymnastics being her greatest love. It’s her world—a place where she thrives and shines. However, this past summer (2024), Jia experienced a severe sickle cell crisis that changed everything. The crisis left her with a significant loss of mobility in her shoulder, and her hip has also been affected. We recently discovered that part of the bone in her shoulder and hip is deteriorating.

Her doctors have recommended surgery as the best chance to restore mobility and allow Jia to return to her normal activities, including her beloved gymnastics. While we are hopeful for her recovery, the journey ahead will be long and challenging. After surgery, Jia will require 6-8 weeks of bed rest, followed by extensive physical therapy to regain strength and mobility.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover the mounting medical expenses and to ensure Jia receives the best care possible during this critical time. Your donations will help with:
