I started this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, Jhavani Tedtatotao. She is 11 years old, she just started middle school this year. As a simple introduction, she loves basketball, StrayKids & Roblox.

Just last year through a routine physical, concern was raised after discovering that her white blood cell count was very low. If you’re not familiar with what that means, your white blood cells are vital immune system cells made in your bone marrow that fight infections and diseases. Ultimately, your body’s own defense system against illnesses.

Unfortunately, Jhavani’s lowered defense systems (white blood cells) is a growing concern. Because of the continuous decline, it’s been something she’s had multiple visits for. She’s still currently being monitored regularly, she’s done a lot of lab work, but unfortunately Guam does not have a resident pediatric hematologist to assist her with the proper medical care she requires. There are more tests that can continue to be done on island, but ultimately because of the continuous decline, she’s inevitably in need of being seen off-island.

Unfortunately it’s not that easy.. from flights to hotels for the duration of her stay and to help make the situation feel a little less invasive to her as possible, not including any other basic necessities or medical bills that should go uncovered, it’s all additions to an already uphill battle.

To know Jhavani is to know pure innocence and hope. There’s so much that she’s had to endure as a kid that some people are blessed to never have to know in their lifetime. Through it all, she has been the best auntie sissy to the smaller ones near her, she is the greatest singer I know, she tells the cringiest dad jokes just to laugh at herself and she’s remained a light in pure darkness for us all.

My family and I kindly ask that you help us take our turn for her now and that you help us in getting her the proper care and medical attention that she needs from Guam to Los Angeles, CA. Anything Helps,
