Help JG Filmworks Fund Their Upcoming Projects

Hey Yall! Our names are Jade Gray and Elycia Bickham. We are college students attending Pace University's Acting for Film, Television, Commercial, and Voice-over program. As African American women trying to enter the film industry, we realized that their is an extreme lack of help for people who look like us. In response to this, we decided to start our own production company entitled JG Filmworks. A company where we can tell the stories we want to without being stereotyped by the industry. Under this company we plan to produce several pieces of work from limited series to short films, and maybe even a feature or two BUT we need your help! We have self funded as much as we can, and now we need help from our community to make it the rest of the way. Our first project is called VICES. It's a five episode limited series, and we plan to begin filming in January. We also begin production on a 10 episode series the summer of 2022, which causes for even more help and resources than this project. With everything budgeted out we realized we need $10,000 dollars more than what we have already invested to make these series as great as we know they can be. We believe in not only VICES, but every project we hope to produce in the future. However, as college students we know we can't do it alone.
