Hi, my name is Jeylah, and I’m fundraising because my life changed overnight. My apartment recently caught fire, and my daughter & myself have lost everything we owned.

I’m incredibly grateful to be safe, but the damage was total — clothing, furniture, important documents, personal items, and all of my daily essentials are gone. I’m starting completely from scratch, and the emotional and financial weight of rebuilding has been overwhelming.

I’m typically someone who handles things on my own, but this situation is more than I can manage alone. I’m asking for help so I can replace basic necessities like clothing, toiletries, bedding, and other essentials, as well as begin finding stability after this unexpected loss.

Any amount, no matter how small, will help us move forward and begin rebuilding our life.
