We're  raising money to help our Jewel fight cancer. She's the sweetest Golden Retriever Mix we could have ever known and she's currently serving as my fiancé's emotional support animal. We're so lucky to have her. She does so much to curb our anxiety especially during these difficult times. 

About a month into her adoption we noticed what looked like a tumor growing on her most sensitive area. We rushed to the nearest doggie emergency room and hoped for the best. Unfortunately Jewel has been diagnosed with a Transmissible Venereal Tumor. This is a transmissible cancer only found in dogs that is very common south of the border, which is were jewel is from.  Even though we'd only known Jewel a short while, our bond with jewel was rock solid. She has bonded so closely with us, the thought of not being able to afford her chemotherapy and having to offer her up to adoption was too much to bear. We've chosen to start Chemotherapy as soon as possible.
