Please help Support 14-Year-Old Jett Trunnell in His Fight Against Stage 4 Bone Cancer
With heavy hearts, our family is reaching out to ask for your prayers, love, and support for our beloved Jett Trunnell. Jett is my great nephew, the son of Justin Trunnell and Tiffany (Blevins) all of Oakdale. Justin is the son of Kandis Roche and Daniel Trunnell- many knew Jim and Shirley Trunnell, Justin’s grandparents. Jett is a bright, kind, and fun-loving 14-year-old boy who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 osteosarcoma—a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer.
What began as what seemed like a sports-related injury from wrestling practice turned out to be something far more serious. While visiting family in Texas with his father, Jett underwent further testing as his leg and hip pain worsened. The results have left us all devastated.
Jett now faces an incredibly tough road ahead, including multiple rounds of chemotherapy and the likelihood of extensive surgery to remove cancerous bone. His treatment plan will be intense and long-term, and much depends on how his body responds in the coming months. Jett will be receiving his chemotherapy in Amarillo, TX and has already made one trip to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston to meet with his surgical team.
Our family has created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of Jett’s medical care—every donation will go directly toward his treatment, medical travel, and other related expenses. Your generosity will allow his parents to focus on what matters most: helping Jett heal.
Please consider donating if you’re able, sharing this page with others, and most importantly—keeping Jett in your thoughts and prayers. Updates on his journey will be posted regularly.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Jett and our family during this unimaginable time.
