help Jethro get well
Donation protected
I’m starting this Go Fund Me for my dear friend Kenny . His beloved amazing, sweet dog Jethro is in the hospital dealing with pneumonia and inflamed intestines . These are both as a result of a foreign object in his abodomen that needs to be removed. Jethro was not able to go under anesthesia because of the pneumonia but he is currently receiving antibiotics and hydration to prepare him for a surgical intervention. Veterinary Care can be extremely expensive and I know Kenny really needs some support for the amount of treatment Jethro is receiving. His bills will be $7,000.00 - $10,000.00. Anything you can donate I know will be helpful and greatly appreciated. - ❤️ Dawn

Prayers needed! I know I post a lot of pictures of my best friend Jethro but now I ask for all your sincere prayers, good vibes, best wishes and positive mojo. He’s been sick with allergies I thought and three weeks ago I brought him in for an allergy shot which worked wonders for three days. But he started gagging and vomiting more than before. The past week and a half he was going back and forth between well and not well. I was finally able to bring him to the vet this morning. There is a foreign object in his abdomen that is causing him pain. It is not blocking his stool which appears normal but making it difficult to keep any food down hence the acute vomiting. It may be rupturing his stomach. They also found two pellets or bb’s in his hind thigh and shoulder that have probably been there for years. This month is three years since I rescued him. He was a ranch dog near Bakersfield. He was sickly when I got him but I had brought him back to good health until recently. I’ll know more on Friday after a second X-ray to see if the medications helped and the complete radiology reports. Probably more detail than anyone wants to read but at least you know what you’re praying for…

** Update on Jethro. He’s very sick and has been in the hospital since 7AM Friday. They let me visit this morning. He has a pneumonia from aspirating the bile/vomit from trying to bring the stone/bone up from his abdomen as it is causing him pain. They were unable to put him under anesthesia with a pneumonia. He’s on heavy antibiotics and hydration in the hospital and hopefully tomorrow they will be able to do the procedure. He’s around seven years old and I’m not giving up on him. He will be with me 3 years next Saturday March 12th and last night was the first night we did not sleep under the same roof. Thank you for all the prayers, well wishes, good vibes and love.
