Help Jeter Walk Again: Support His Surgery

Donation protected
On April 27th, our dog Jeter had a freak accident when going outside to use the bathroom. He was running behind his brothers, tried to jump over the cement retaining wall to the grass and hit it head on at a very fast pace. He collapsed and was unable to move his body or walk. We immediately ran him to the emergency vet where he was stable but they were unable to treat him, they sent us to our regular vet who referred us immediately to a pet hospital that specializes in neurology. We drove almost two hours immediately and he needed an MRI and surgery to fix his spinal cord compression with hopes that he will be able to walk again. He is in surgery currently and we have a long road ahead.

As some of you know my husband Chris has also had a year of serious health issues requiring specialists and the medical bills have been high. He has only been able to work two days a week because of it. I recently was laid off from my career of over 16 years last month and am currently unemployed. I never thought I would be doing this and have never needed help, I am waving the white flag to say we need help. If you can’t donate, please share to help us.

The total cost of all of this is already around $11,000 and we have a long way to go. Anything will help. Most importantly, please pray for Jeter to make it through surgery and regain function to walk again. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
