Help Jet Walk Again – Our Sweet Boy Needs Surgery

Meet Jet — our loving 6-year-old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog with the gentlest soul and the biggest heart. Jet has always been the kind of dog who brings joy to everyone he meets, whether it's with his big goofy grin or his gentle cuddles.

Recently, Jet was headed off for a fun weekend at Grammy’s with the kids when he had an unexpected accident. In his excitement, he jumped a little too early into the bed of the truck and suffered severe injuries. He tore the ACL in his back right leg and dislocated the kneecap in his left back leg. Right now, he can’t get around without our help — and it breaks our hearts to see him like this.

Jet needs two surgeries: one to repair his ACL and another to fix his dislocated kneecap. The total cost is around $8,000 — a sum that’s overwhelming for our family right now. We’ve never been the kind to ask for help, but Jet isn’t just a pet — he’s family. He’s been with us through thick and thin, and we just can’t imagine life without him.

Jet still has so much life and love to give. We want nothing more than to see him running around again, playing with his dog friends, and greeting everyone with his big, happy tail wags.
