Help Jet Get Life-Saving Surgery—His Sister Needs Him
Donation protected
Hi my name is Amanda, I rent a field for my horse Ruby at the end of Carr Lane, Moreton.
For the past 4 and a half years, I’ve been caring for a pair of stray siblings—Jet and his sister Cammy—that had been dumped on the fields on Carr Lane, feeding them, ensuring their vaccinations and flea/worming treatments are up to date, and giving them as much comfort as possible. They may not have had a home, but at least they had each other.
But on Good Friday, tragedy struck. Overnight, Jet wandered into the stables and got his leg trapped behind a gap in the wall. No one knows how long he struggled there, but by the time he was found, the damage was devastating. The vet has confirmed that Jet’s leg cannot be saved—and it will need to be amputated.
The cost of the surgery and aftercare is over £4000, an overwhelming expense. Jet is a fighter, but he needs our help to get through this. And his sister—lost without him—needs her best friend back.
This little survivor deserves a future where he is safe, cared for, and loved. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference in getting Jet the urgent care he needs. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign means the world.
Let’s come together and give Jet the second chance he deserves.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
