UPDATE: Help Support Transition expenses for Jesus, and Celebration of Life event for Josh Christoff

Our community is heartbroken to share that Josh Christoff, beloved partner, friend, musician, and LGBTQ+ chorus member, passed away unexpectedly from a seizure at just 45 years old.

Josh was born and raised in Merrillville, Indiana, and his life was shaped by music from the very beginning. A music major with a gift for harmony, Josh lent his deep bass voice to the West Coast Singers LGBTQ+ Chorus of Los Angeles since 2022, where he quickly became a cherished part of our chosen family. His love of musical theater, his warm laugh, and his big-hearted presence touched everyone who knew him.

Outside of music, Josh poured his passion and creativity into his business, The Groom Room, where he was the proud owner and groomer. His care for animals—and the people who loved them—was part of what made him so special.

Josh leaves behind his beloved boyfriend, Jesus, who is now facing the sudden emotional and financial strain of living expenses and memorial, tentatively planned for January. Fortunately, Josh’s parents were able to take care of cremation, relieving Jesus of a huge burden.
