It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jesus Patino (Chucho), a beloved member of the South Chicago and East Chicago communities, on August 8, 2024. He is survived by his 10-year-old son, Jesus Patino Jr., and his elderly mother, Maria Carolina Cabrera.

We are kindly asking for donations to help Mrs. Cabrera with the funeral and burial expenses during this difficult time. The family was not prepared for the unexpected costs, and your support would greatly alleviate the financial burden, allowing Mrs. Cabrera to grieve the tragic loss of her son while caring for her grandson.

Please consider donating if you can; any amount will be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to raise $12,000 to cover the full funeral and burial costs. Any remaining funds will go directly to Mrs. Cabrera to assist with the ongoing care of her grandson.
