Hello, my name is Jesus Mendoza, and I have been diagnosed with an eye condition called keratoconus. This disease causes my corneas to thin and bulge into a cone shape, which severely affects my vision. Everyday tasks like driving, reading, and even recognizing faces have become challenging. Without proper treatment, my vision may continue to deteriorate.

I have always worked hard to support my family and my four boys. I’ve spent over 30 years in sales and customer service, and now I’m also building my real estate career. Unfortunately, keratoconus has become a barrier to my work and daily life. Treatments like corneal cross-linking, special contact lenses, or even surgery can stabilize or improve my vision, but they are very expensive and often not fully covered by insurance.

I am starting this fundraiser to ask for help with:

• Medical appointments and specialist visits

• Corneal cross-linking or other necessary procedures

• Custom contact lenses and follow-up care

• Travel expenses for treatments if needed
