Help Jesus Attend Northwestern Conducting Symposium
Donation protected
My name is Jesus Jacquez, and I am an aspiring conductor and have recently been accepted into the Northwestern University Conducting Symposium for the summer of 2025! It is a great honor for me to attend, as I have always dreamt of studying conducting under some of the world's greatest batons and minds in music, and it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to attend and hone my conducting craft!
In order to attend the conference, I am being charged a participation fee of $1200 for housing and symposium fees. I also need several hundreds of dollars in order to travel and stay in the city of Evanston, Illinois for a week. Given my current economic situation, I am unable to afford a trip like this on my own.
Being accepted into the symposium is a dream come true, but the only way I will be able to participate is through your generosity. This is the first step for me to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a true professional conductor. If you are able and willing, I hope you will consider donating to my cause. Any additional funds raised will go towards my score-studying materials (like scores, method books, and conducting lessons in the future).
Everyone who donates will get a hand-written thank you from me. It is very unlike me to ask for financial support in this way, but I can seriously see this opportunity as something that may change the trajectory of my life forever.
Thank you to everyone for reading and considering me in your donation.
