Hi, my name is Jessye Jennings, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but strong spirit.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. As I am going toward the end ofthis unexpected and challenging journey, I’m doing everything I can to stay hopeful and fight for my health, but I need support — emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

While I do have insurance, it unfortunately does not cover everything. The co-pays, medications, frequent doctor visits, x-rays, and especially the transportation to and from appointments are quickly adding up. Some days I don’t have a ride and must rely on Uber, which makes every visit a financial stretch.

I’m also trying to reach my deductible and out-of-pocket costs, which are higher than I anticipated. The burden is becoming too heavy to carry alone, and that’s why I’ve created this fundraiser.

I’m asking for $3,000.00 to help cover:

Medical co-pays and treatment costs

Medication expenses

Transportation to appointments (Uber, gas)

Tests like x-rays and scans

Basic needs while I recover and focus on healing

I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t truly need it. Every donation — no matter how big or small — helps me take one step closer to healing without the added stress of financial strain.
