Jesslyn Blue: Join SAG-AFTRA

Greetings and salutations! My name is Jesslyn Blue and I am a uniquely creative individual that needs your support in order to further my dreams and career goals within the arts & entertainment industry.
I am raising funds to join the SAG AFTRA Actors Union and The Black TV & Film Collective. The total being $3,200. SAG-AFTRA has a one-time registration fee of $3000 to join and The Black TV & Film Collective has a yearly fee of $200 to join. You also need a minimum of 3 Union waivers to join SAG-AFTRA - which I have earned and then some.
Joining these two organizations would provide much-needed resources and boost my career opportunities. By joining SAG-AFTRA, I will receive a higher pay rate for my work, health benefits, acting workshops, exposure to more professional acting and entertainment opportunities, and more. By joining The Black TV & Film Collective, I will gain access to industry professional job opportunities, like my previous position for them as a Script Reader, access to production studios, Youtube spaces, networking events, a professional listing in their database, and more.
Also, if I join SAG-AFTRA, the comedy improv theater that I work with, LA Connection Theater, will be able to offer me paid opportunities to perform within their troupe. As of now, being Non-Union, they are not able to offer me those opportunities if they arise.
THIS WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO ME! I know that may sound cliche, but these goals have been deferred for too long and I'm ready to take the next steps. Any amount is appreciated. Simply sharing this with others is appreciated, too!
Jesslyn Blue Bio:
Jesslyn Blue is a multidisciplinary artist based out of New York City. Her talents include creative writing, acting, modeling, fine art, and tarot reading. For over ten years, she’s been hitting stages to perform her spoken word poetry and freelancing as a commercial, hand, and print model throughout the tri-state area. Jesslyn is SAG Eligible and has been acting in indie and studio-backed projects for film and television since 2015. With a tarot card flip, she can provide you with life guidance informed by over six years of experience in the realm of tarot divination.
She holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, where she also studied film, acting, and screenwriting. Further education includes: professional training in Montessori methodology and reading enrichment instruction for all ages. Due to her Neptune, NJ roots, she will always have the ocean in her blood and an affinity for nature.
