UPDATE #3 - From Jessie:
I have had a lot of calls, texts and messages asking for an update on myself, the kids and the entire situation.
First and foremost I want to say thank you for all of the love and support you all have shown us. I wouldn’t have made it through these last 3 weeks without y’all!
Me…. I am doing ok. I am really struggling mentally but I do have some good moments. I am overwhelmed by the sudden change in our future for my family, I miss the man my husband used to be and with that comes A LOT of emotions. I’m constantly stressed about having zero income. I’m a hustler and like to stay busy… so not working fuels the core of my crazy!!! My injuries are healing. Initially we thought it was just a collarbone injury… but most of the pain is actually stemming from my shoulder. I will be starting physical therapy soon and seeing an orthopedic surgeon. I am out of work Indefinitely but hope to be back sooner than later. I finally have my voice back after not having one for 2 weeks! Which has been great. But I’m sure those closest to me are annoyed already
I have a long road ahead of me but the amount of support I have, will no doubts help guide me through.
The kids…. Damnit I wish I could take their pain away from them. They’re all struggling in different ways. They miss their dad terribly.
I’m keeping Brooklynn busy with softball and Brycen and Hadley both started wrestling! It’s been a lot of fun for them and it’s exciting watching them try something new and really enjoy it! They are all starting therapy soon and I’m hoping that too will be a good outlet for them to process things.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU again for all the love and support. Words could never express my gratitude to y’all!
❤️❤️❤️

She is devastated by the loss), clothing, purses, jewelry, perfume, money from the kids' piggy banks, TVs, game consoles, small kitchen appliances and even their food.
A police report is being filed.
Thank you all for your support. We appreciate you.
UPDATE: The following charges have been filed against the attacker
-Attempted Murder in the Second Degree
-Assault in the First Degree
-Kidnapping in the First Degree
-Felony Harassment
-Intimidating a Witness
Thank you all for your love and support.

ORIGINAL POST: On the morning of September 30th, Jessie's life was torn apart when she was brutally attacked by her estranged husband.
At 2:00 am Jessie returned home from work to find her estranged husband in her home; he was high and paranoid. He held her against her will and beat her for hours before strangling her past the point of unconsciousness.
Anyone who knows Jessie knows she is a fighter. That fighting spirit and the grace of God saved her that morning. Around 4:00 am she regained consciousness and waited until he was distracted before making her escape, fleeing from her home to safety.
Fortunately, her 3 children, Brooklynn (13), Brycen (11), and Hadley (6) were spending the night with Grandma & Grandpa, sparing them the horrors their mother faced
Her estranged husband was arrested several hours later in the Vancouver area. (https://www.koin.com/news/washington/man-accused-of-domestic-violence-arrested-after-chase-clark-county-sheriffs-office)
Jessie and the kids are together now and recovering from this nightmare together. She has a broken clavicle and her body has suffered unspeakable trauma.
For more than a year, Jessie has been the only income earner for her family, working three jobs to support her kids. With her injuries, she will be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time. She will have medical and legal bills on top of her mortgage and other monthly bills. She will be working to sell her house and looking for a new place to live.
Any support is greatly appreciated in allowing Jessie to rest and fully recover without worrying about returning to work to support her family.
