Help Jessie Rebuild After Medical Crisis
Donation protected
None of us ever think it will happen to us. None of us ever anticipate days and even weeks of not being able to do the most basic things like go to our job, take care of our family’s needs, and participate in life as we’ve always been accustomed. But when something unexpected and catastrophic happens…
But that’s EXACTLY what happened to my friend Jessie. You know her from the community. Maybe you've visited her business, or you’ve seen her supporting her kids and being their greatest cheerleader.
Please read her words and please consider helping in anyway you can. No amount would be too small and every effort is deeply appreciated.
From Jessie: After over 15 months of a scary health journey, resulting in significant medical bills and so much time away from work, I have to admit that I need help in order to keep my feet under me as I try to heal and rebuild.
No one expects weeks of hospital stays, ambulance rides, infusions and blood draws, or a growing list of diagnoses that require countless appointments with more specialists who are searching for answers.
After the final injuries on July 4th, that resulted with an MRI (something that had been long awaited for), there was a small mass found inside my brain. Answers are still unknown. But the beautiful silver lining is that the mass was found.
As I continue to navigate this complex medical journey, I have seen and appreciate so much support. The prayers and love have been the most encouraging piece. It is my hope that every day brings progress, because there is so much to live for.
In order to keep my home and make sure I have a reliable vehicle, I have finally succumbed to the fact that I can't pull my head above water quickly enough without outside help.
I thank anyone who gives a lending hand in my attempt of reaching that hope, no matter how small.
