Help Jessie the Witch Hex Breast Cancer!

Beloved local witch faces Stage 2 Breast Cancer requiring chemotherapy and radiation!

A bright star in our community – Jessie Macpherson – is in need of some great help.

I met Jessie through community fundraisers at Vancouver Friends for Life where she donates Tarot readings for charity. Jessie’s kindness and compassion has always struck me as both exceptional and beautiful. Since that time, Jessie and I have grown to be close friends through out mutual passion for charity and the holistic healing arts. She has recently undertaken a profound journey of healing as she now battles Stage 2 Breast Cancer.

Together, we can help Jessie Macpherson, a wonderful star, in her fight against stage 2 breast cancer.

She will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for 8-12 months, so about a year including treatment and recovery. Jessie needs help covering important costs such as travel to medical appointments, the cost of all associated treatment medications as well as the cost of proper food and nutrition to keep her body/mind balance strong.

Jessie is also a prolific author and social justice advocate who supports the LGBTQ2S, cannabis and fandom communities with her generous contributions and unconditional love. Her goal is to focus on Tarot coaching, teaching and writing business as she can while she is in treatment and to be able to support it when she returns to full health. Jessie offers her endless gratitude to all those who have supported her thus far in her cancer journey as well as all future supporters who will make this journey an absolute success!

We are all wishing you the absolute best in your fight for wellness Jessie Macpherson! #HEXBREASTCANCER !

Present: The Tower

I’m Jessie Macpherson, a witch, Tarot reader, writer and teacher in Vancouver. On November 3, I received news I had breast cancer. On November 26 I underwent a partial mastectomy to remove a cancerous tumour. On December 10 I was officially diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. I’m currently facing chemotherapy and radiation treatment over the next year. My team is confident I will be cancer-free after 8-12 months of radiation and chemotherapy. This is really hard news; I have been building my business after recovering from years of crippling fibromyalgia and the mental and physical effects of child abuse. After all this hard work, being away from my practice is heartbreaking. I'm scared, but keeping strong. I know you are all here and I am grateful.

I will be out of regular work for 8-12 months. This means there will be expenses focused on medical care, transportation, medicine, physiotherapy, and other expenses associated with cancer care. I won’t be able to regularly in-person readings at events and will lose at least one day a week of public hours. Your generosity means I gets to beat cancer and keep my witchy work going. Thank you.

Past: The Magician

I officially began my Tarot career in 2018 after winning a LipSync for Your Life at Vancouver’s Friends for Life drag bingo (They help people with life threatening illnesses all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. ( I'm not just a supporter, I'm now a member.) .Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to bring my craft to amazing places like the Mary Jane Brunch, Hervana, Black Rook Bakehouse, Products by SeC and Zenden. Since I arrived in Vancouver in 2017, I have supported local Vancouver charities like Vancouver Friends For Life and East Van’s pet rescue Neuterhead with donations of time and services, have run personal reading series with some proceeds going to benefit Vancouver’s sex-worker aid centre WISH, and internationally have donated prizes to NYC’s Mystical Menagerie market to benefit the Third Wave Fund as well as the immigration support charity RAICES. Ihave donated to community events such as the Main Street Mixed Bag , the All Tomorrow’s Parties market and the Eastside Flea.

Future: The World

I am grateful for anything you can share and I am beyond grateful for all your support. Know that anything you give will be used to help deal with illness and being able to work at all while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. As every client I have had enriches my understanding and teaches me, any donation will be used to help keep me alive, thriving and ready to keep paying it forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Please share this on your Facebook timeline, your Twitter feed, your Instagram, LinkedIn. I also have a Patreon if you’d prefer monthly support options. Let your friends know about my services and I’ll work with them as best I can.  Want to help with rides, supplies, food, anything? We'd be very grateful.  Get in touch with me or G. If you want you can also donate to Vancouver Friends for Life. And I’ll happily accept all the love, prayers, good vibes and support that you have available. Thank you so much. Let’s #HEXBREASTCANCER  together.
