I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my dear friend Jessie and her beloved dog, Penny. Penny has been in emergency care in Los Angeles for the past 48 hours due to sudden and severe symptoms. After extensive testing, she has been diagnosed with swelling in her frontal lobe. Penny will now begin treatment with antibiotics in hopes of reducing the inflammation and helping her heal.

Jessie, who works with me at North Shore Dog Walkers, has been recovering from a broken ankle since October and hasn’t been able to return to work. Between vet visits, diagnostics, and emergency care, Jessie has already spent $25,000 CAD. With additional treatments and monitoring ahead, the financial strain has become overwhelming.
