Most of you know me but for those of you who don’t, my name is Kennedy and I’m the oldest daughter of Jessie and Jake Englert. For over 9 months now Mom and Jake have been facing an incredibly tough battle. Mom lives with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), a rare and debilitating condition that causes sudden, severe episodes leaving her unable to function for days at a time. Through every flare, every sleepless night, and every hospital trip, Jake has been by her side helping to take care of her.

This illness hasn’t just taken a toll on Mom’s health. Both she and Jake have had to miss significant amounts of work, making it difficult to keep up with everyday bills and provide for my brother and sisters. On top of that, they now face additional medical and travel expenses because Mom has been referred to the world’s leading CVS specialist. This appointment brings real hope for better answers and treatment, but it also brings costs that are overwhelming for them to face alone.

Mom and Jake are not ones to ask for help and don’t know I’ve created this gofundme, but right now they truly need the support. By donating, you can help lift some of the financial burden so Mom can focus on healing, Jake can continue caring for her, and together they can provide stability for my siblings.
