Help Jessica's Fight for Wally's Health

Hey everyone as you may know I am Jessica Landor’s sister! I am creating this go fund me for my sister that has had an emergency with her little one Wally. Over the past few days Wally’s behavior all of a sudden changed. His actions of circling, head tilting, loss of coordination and restlessness brought him to their local vet where they thought it could be spinal stenosis in his neck or a pinched nerve. With that my sister and Wally left with meds and hoped for the best. After 72 hours of really no change, my sister contacted the neurologist because she knew something was just not right. Today at the neurologist they examined Wally and said the best thing to do would be an MRI for brain imaging as his symptoms were not adding up to spinal stenosis. The MRI confirmed that Wally has congenital hydrocephalus and NLE, Necrotizing leukoencephalitis. This basically means he has a birth defect when CFS build up into the brain creating pressure. On top of that NLE is a non infectious inflammatory central nervous system disease where an animals own immune system attacks the brain tissue. At this point doing a spinal tap may make things worse. Wally is currently in the ICU being monitored as he receives 24 hour steroid and a chemotherapy drug to see if this will help. The doctor says she has seen the outcome go either way. We are hoping these meds help so we can get Wally back home and on a maintained regime to keep the swelling decreased.

I am creating this because the bills my sister will be receiving will be far too much for her handle. We all know our little furry ones are our BABIES and we would do anything for them! Please keep my sister and Wally in your prayers. ❤️
