Hi, my name is Jessica. I’m a mom to two amazing kids and a first-grade teacher who loves her students dearly. Recently, I received a breast cancer diagnosis that has turned our world upside down.

As I begin chemotherapy, I’ve had to take unpaid leave from my job. Teaching is not just my career—it’s my passion and my calling—but right now I need to step back and focus on healing so I can be here for my children and my students.
