My name is Jessica Wilson and I was recently diagnosed with cancer. Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma to be exact. I had been dealing with a lot of health issues before my diagnosis and the hospital local to me just couldn't seem to figure out what was going on. I went to Shands(a much bigger and better hospital). I was admitted and shortly after being there, I was given my diagnosis. So a long two week hospital stay resulted in 5 rounds of radiation to shrink a golf ball sized tumor on my spine that was growing into my spinal canal. And one round of chemotherapy.. My cancer is very rare and fast growing and mutating. There is at this time, no cure. And I have been given about a year to live. With this news, I am trying to stay as positive as possible. But the medical bills are piling up and with me not being able to work anymore, it all is falling on my husband. My husband Patrick is a hard working man and he is my main caregiver. We just recently bought a home. So we have a mortgage and all the normal bills most people have.  All of my medicine is costing us about $500 a month at this time. About $150 every 9 days because of how they have to prescribe my medication. So this go fund me I am setting up is just to help myself and my husband with my medical bills and my medication. My chemotherapy is outpatient snd we aren't even sure what that's going to cost us. So, anything anyone can help with is more appreciated than you will ever know. If you do know me, you know I hate having to ask for help because I am always the one helping. I would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it.  Patrick and I love and appreciate all of our family and friends who have been here for us thru just the beginning of this journey.
